Practicing english

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

I have a huge problem. I can’t speak english. It’s funny, but it’s true.

I usually watch movies with original language, sometimes with english subtitles and I read a lot of english webpages, but it’s just passive knowledge, not real, that I could use in the everydays(?). If I drink some beer my english is becomes much better, but this is not a very good idea to be drunk every day, every hour.

So I decided to post sometimes in english to improve my speaking capabilities(?). I have to practice to think in english, to use the language. It’s easier than real life speech, because I have some time to think, but it’s a little hard, because I have to know, how to write the word.

This time I haven’t used a dictionary, and I don’t know if I should or not. If I use, I can learn new words (or just bring them into the active level of my brain), but if I don’t use it, I must think, how to describe what I want to say.

If I have done some mistakes, like the words are in wrong order, or not the correct word have I used, or I haven’t used the correct tense or just something that isn’t correct, pls fix me. Or not me, but the sentence :)

And who wants to comment should do it in english too.

Thank you to help me to practice :)

Update: I don’t know how to use commas in english. After I have read this post again there are a lot of commas (because of the hungarian way), that shouldn’t be there.  How should I use them?
